Types of the cooling system:
Liquid Cooling:
The cooling system circulates fluid through piping and engine passageways to extract heat from the engine block. The hot liquid passes through the radiator and cools down as it comes into contact with the radiator walls. The radiator exchanges this heat with the atmosphere and cool liquid re-circulates to the engine passageways again.
Air Cooling:
Instead of circulating fluid through the engine, the engine block is covered in aluminum fins that conduct the heat away from the cylinder. A powerful fan forces air over these fins, which cools the engine by transferring the heat to the air.
